Jeff Jones Caveman Statue

7.5" tall statue of crouching caveman from 1973. Only 100 of these (plus artists proof) were cast in Vatican stone. This statue is an unsigned and unumbered version but does have his name/date etched into the back base. Cast and hand finished by Jones. Very interesting piece as Jones was the model for the statue. The statue was used by jones for several of their later paintings.

Purchased from a long time collector who originally obtained this and the Naked Woman statue in the 70s. The caveman was unfortunately painted over the years but still an amazing piece.
