DescriptionI've been fortunate to pick up a number of top pages from this personal nostalgic key for me. Adding the title page is an absolute highlight!Big image of Wolverine carrying Charlie to safety. A memorable story with late 80s cold-war intrigue and defining character moments for both Spider-Man and Wolverine. Thank you to my buddy, Josh, for letting me trade for the page! Social/Sharing |

It doesn't even matter if Wolverine's claws were straight or not. People were real hungry for more Wolverine focused stories and this issue proved that he can be put into darker reality based tales.

Very nostalgic book, from a time when it was still very unusual and special to see Wolverine outside of the X-Men. Great story too--it could have just been a slugfest but Owlsley/Christopher Priest went for a darker, more complex take that made an impact on both characters. And great art by an underrated artist-- such strong storytelling and characterization, RIP Mark Bright. Awesome page, congrats!

And yet another top page, my man! The one that starts it all :) Got your dude, claws unsheathed, with that grimace...maybe a LITTLE bit of a smile there?! In any case, congrats on adding yet another from the 80's one-shot featuring Marvel's top 2!

Congratulations on pulling off the trade, James. It's certainly a key piece of art and with Doc's recent passing, a nice way to commemorate him.
