I like the roughness (in a good way!) of his style, especially considering the setting here. Just flat out works. That top splashy panel is devilishly good! I gotta look into his work more. Congrats!

Agreed so good to see a great contemporary artist going "traditional". I have one page as well and it looks amazing with great inkwash work. Fantastic page with a great character...well chosen !
This is nice. Nothing wrong with new art. My only problem is guys working on computers who try and tell you a certain size print is a one off, hence they can charge you full price for this 'unique' signed piece. All they have to do is change the dimensions slighty and hey presto they can sell it again.

Stunning Dead X-Men half-splash from Jonas Scharf! I love Jonas' obvious skill with the brush! Beautiful portrayal of Limbo with Magik, standing amidst a flock of bats, holding a flaming sword! The whole scene has a dark, mysterious mood that's fitting for Magik! I haven't read this book yet, but Jonas' art makes me want to! Fabulous pick-up, Jason--Congrats!
