Description
This was the last page I could find with Star-Lord in his outfit from the Brad Walker penciled portion of the Guardians of the Galaxy run. As you can tell, I loved his artwork as I have collected quite a few of his pieces throughout the series. His skill at visually telling a story is apparent on the layout of this page, which leads me to the story at hand.

Who doesn't love a page with an alien parasite searching for a host?

Cynosure isn't quite a friend of the Guardians of the Galaxy, but that doesn't stop Moondragon from becoming a selfless hero. Watch as she taunts the parasitic alien into accepting her as a host.

Impressive linework, great inks, and terrific panel design.

Brad Walker can you hear me whining?
It's been three whole weeks
Since that I've left your host
Moondragon's fear has left me tremblin'
'Cause Hennessey's inks I am out there on my own
And I'm feeling like heroine

Pay attention to the cracked streaks
And the broken bones
Some call him dumb, some call Quill nice
I want to take you through
A wasteland I like to call my host
Welcome to parasite

You are now ok in my wifes book. She loved Green Day when she was younger. Even took me to a concert once. It hits hard with a welcome to Parasite!

This youngster watched a lot of commercials as a kid, old timer lol. I am quite sure I heard her a few times on MTV and otherwise there was a commercial in the 90's for purchasing 1980's music that had a snippet of her song. My long term memory is quite good when it comes to trivial things from my childhood. My wife is ususally freaked out by my memory as she is the complete opposite. Yet I can't remember what I did 30 seconds ago.

Sadly my body keeps telling me I'm ready for the senior center. If we could only have our youth again. Luckily we have comic art to trick our minds into feeling young again.

Great page!  Your song choice perfectly captures the energy & craziness of that second panel.  And 'Alien Impregnation' would be an awesome band title.

It was there for me during a very difficult time in my life cheering me up. Thus, it holds a special place in my heart. It continues to bring smiles and joy to me every time I see it.
