11 x 14 interior page from Love and Rockets #40, “Chester Square,” published by Fantagraphics in January 1993.

There are no bad Jaime Hernandez pages but the ones I cherish have a little extra something. This page has got it all...and then some: sexiness and sensuality, comedy, drama, and story beats that Jaime will unpack over the next few chapters of Chester Square. In particular, the middle panel pause with Maggie and Enero gets me every time I read this story.

This is the third of three sequential pages in my collection from the first chapter of Jaime Hernandez’s “Chester Square” storyline in Love and Rockets.

Maggie doing what she can to escape from purgatory. Jaime's mastery of expressions and acting are off the charts here. Congrats on putting together an amazing sequence!

We both have good taste in Jaime pages! This storyline in particular has some of my favorite pages and I had to get this one since I had the two pages before it. This will probably be my only Jaime page this year, though. They don't seem to be getting any cheaper.
