DescriptionI’ve been wanting a nice piece from Esad Ribić ever since he came out with those excellent Conan covers, and so I am happy to have acquired this cool X-Men cover. I like that it harkens back to old-school days. It was a fun read.As a side story, this was a consolation purchase through Heritage; I had set my sight on something else, but it somehow slipped from my grasp, flying on an airplane et al. Wonderful canvas piece! Those Xavier school uniforms really shine with Ribic's vision. What the heck is Cyclops waiting for?

Not the worst cancellation prize.. not at all. Love how Iceman nearly blends in like a magic eye image. Congrats!

The large eye openings on the mask are a nice touch. Ribac's at does make these classic costumes modern looking and realistic. The sparkle of Cyclops' eyes are what you expect before being blasted. Great painting!

Stunning X-Men cover by Esad Ribić! Love Esad's depiction of the early X-Men uniforms. Great contrast with the red treatment of Magneto's costume! Clearly this is an early Esad Ribić cover, but even so, Esad's skill and mastery with watercolors is on full display here! Fabulous win, congrats!
