DescriptionOne of my main collection focus these days is of the X-Men’s leader Cyclops! From the recent Deadpool and Wolverine trailer, we know that Wolverine has done something real bad in his universe’s timeline. What better time to celebrate Wolvie’s return than with this commission that comes courtesy of Next Comic Art’s Jiggy Cruz by the sizzling hot Manix Abrera while on his tour of the USA that started at OAX. It is a scene that homages Crime SuspenStories #22 by Johnny Craig from 1954. It came out some time in April/May of that year, so 70 years ago!Social/Sharing |

Didn't we all know this was eventually going to happen with these two? I mean, yeah, inevitable for sure. And Manix captures the moment absolutely brilliantly … and in the Marcus tradition!

How many times can you behead Cyclops? Did he do something bad to you or Manix? I know he often comes across as a dick but c'mon. Take it easy on the old guy. He's been fighting evil since 1962 or was it 1963? I once knew but am forgetting irrelevant stuff like that. I may have to keep an eye on you. One eye. A careful eye. I need the other one to watch other things. I think this might be a short run comic. A one shot maybe. Prestige format.

Another Manix piece that shoots up to the top of my all-time favourite Manix pieces. So awesome! Beautifully drawn and colored, and it truly does justice to your favourite character of all-time! Cyclops for the win!

Bill claims to be the biggest fan of Cyclops, but we all know that you're the true Cyclops Collector. This piece is quite interesting, and I love the spin you're taking on this and how you're connecting it to the next Deadpool movie.
