Silver Age wackiness still filled Superboy stories of the 1970s. Issue #176 had introduced Kathy Warren, a grade schooler given superhuman intelligence by aliens. She returns for an encore (also her final appearance) here in #191.

Clark has been invited to go on a two week small-vessel Atlantic cruise with Kathy and her parents. Turns out Kathy's father is secretly using the trip to dive for buried treasure, and some bad guys try to complicate (and end) their lives. It's up to Kathy and Superboy to save the day!

Bob Brown's layout showcases the villains hands to an unusual degree. This ploy keeps his face hidden, as a surprise to be revealed later.

It's all about the hands in this one! The mystery deepens with each shot of them while the origin of his grudge is revealed. Anderson is at his very best putting the finishing touch on something we are all familiar with and would have been under the most scrutiny.
