Fantastic Aliens illustration by the amazing James Harren. Love how James uses a near-silhouette to keep the alien looking mysterious and sinister. And this Alien is huge, almost dinosaur-like, with the long ribbed tail and sharp talons. Stunning piece by a tremendously talented artist!

The emergence of Alien(s) was a seminal moment in my life back in 1979. Any charactertization of such, particularly if, of the quality of Harren's piece here, I feel myself hypnotically drawn to the grotesquerie. This is a lethal gift from a hugely talented artist.

To me, these aliens were (and are) the scariest movie characters of all time. Harren certainly captures that essence.
