Atmospheric page! So good!
Shooting guys in the back as they are surrendering? I guess a war crime is on Rock's ledger and Kubert is showing this as a reflection on what was going on in 1971.
WOW.
This cinematic, gripping page is yet one more testament to Mr. Kubert's art and storytelling. The My Lai revelations and court martial probably were foremost on Kanigher's mind when he wrote the story. However, in the temporal setting of this war, the conduct of US soldiers was nothing like the notorious ruthlessness of the German SS and Japanese army. For the Imperial Army, Bataan and the prison camps come to mind. Make war no more.
A highly artistic page with a lot of impact!
Awesome page ! Congrats !
