Description

A Bruce McCorkindale "what if" version of Jack Kirby and Frank Giacoia's cover art to FANTASTIC FOUR ANNUAL #5, based on the splash page to that issue. Pen, brush and ink on 13" X 20" Bristol board.

I had always liked the splash page image better than the cover image, so I was happy to have Bruce take this on to rectify things!

Very lovingly recreated by McCorkindale's brush! Crytal's surprise, Sue's pin up worthy figure, and looks of concern celebrate the high drama Kirby and Giacoia brought to FF storytelling.
