The Clone Saga is what brought me into comics. So, when I started collecting original art in 2020, I set a goal for myself. That goal was to obtain pieces from the 4 main artists on the core Spider-Man books during the beginning of the clone saga. Mark Bagley was the first, followed by Tom Lyle, Sal Buscema, and finally Steven Butler.

All previous pieces I’ve obtained by said artists are clone saga related, this one is no different. With Steven, I just asked for his rendition of Ben Reilly/Kaine’s first meeting from WebofSM#121, as there was a fill-in artist on that issue. This one came out better than I imagined. He absolutely killed it! Definitely finished on a high note.
