Description
I woud have a hard time trying to explain why I love these so much: their extreme stodginess, their rational optimism that still equated scientific knowledge with progress. Comics as a pedagical tool for the young, as propaganda material for the American atomic age of plenty and, at some point, as 1960s geometric abstract art.

The wonders of science!  I like how these new methods are shown and even though the average person wouldn't have learned about them yet.  The guy holding the hammer is basically called a primitive with a panel of a monkey smashing rocks manually.
