It's fun to see how Moore gets the right facial gesture with a thin and exact line each time. It's blown up and cropped for the cover and still able to get in every bit of emotion.

He's so extremely good at that! And you can tell he's got the knack hard-wired - look how he captures that feeling again when he made the small, on-the-fly remarque drawing for the dedication. Old school magic.
