NYCC 2023

This fun and cute illustration/sketch of Rebel Pilot (and future General) Hera Syndulla was done by artist Erin Lefler. One of my favorite characters in Star Wars, especially for the Rebels animated show/crew.

It was fun chatting with Erin about her artwork and Star Wars at NYCC in artist alley last year where I picked this up from her. She has a very fun style and she can be found throughout the country at various conventions. NYCC is her hometown show though!

This sketch, although simple of line, manages to capture that expression seen so often in the way Hera is drawn or animated. That gaze of optimism that the light will rise and the galaxy will see peace once more.
