The fourth page I bought in last year's CAF Live event.

I am a huge fan of Keith Giffen. He is easily one of my favorite creators, Mount Rushmore status for sure. I first saw Keith's work on the Legion of Super-Heroes (5ylater) the art was weird, bold and it had great use of blacks. I was a fan of all his various art styles. His ever evolving art was awesome to see.

When I saw this piece come up in the last CAF live event, Giffen had just passed so he was fresh in my mind. I didn't read the new OMAC but man the Giffen art looked sweet! This splash page is everything I want in a Giffen page. Giffen's iconic Kirby style with a big bold image of OMAC, full that Kirby energy. A great example of his art.

Amazing! Giffen is using the Kirby modified style to make OMAC updated for the times while still having that Fourth World tradition!

Giffen sure captured all the energy and dynamism inherent in Kirby's work when he illustrated this image. I think The King would be very proud of and complimentary of this piece!
