Avengers 379 page 1 by Stewart Johnson and Tom Palmer (1994)

Don't know why, but I am a big fan of Deathcry. She was cosmicly cool and was Shi'ar which are big pluses. Maybe it is because she was fun to look at? Maybe because she fun to read? Bob Harras handle her and the rest of the team so well. I wasn't familiar with Stewart Johnson but Tom Palmer kept the 'Avengers Look' consistently good. I have been on a spending hiatus, but this page went so reasonably I went for it.

Stewart Johnson and Tom Palmer The Avengers #379 Story Page 1 Original Art (Marvel, 1994). Deathcry watches as the Kree pursuing her arrive on this opening title page to "The Legends and the Lost". Ink and screentone over graphite on Marvel Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15.25". Adhesive/abrasion along the top edge, credits text and indicia paste-ups, punched holes and tape/registration marks in the side margins, whiteout corrections, with light handling wear. Signed by Johnson in the bottom left margin and in Very Good condition.
