Description
Normally, I have no interest in sketch cards but I picked this one up from one of the many auctions of cartoonist sketch/autographed index cards that have been happening on eBay lately. I really wish that I had thought to send index cards with a SASE or a stamped postcard to get autographed by comic artists or cartoonists when I was a kid back in the day. My brother used to do that for baseball players and he got many signed pictures back in the mail but the idea never crossed over to my hobby of comic collecting. Definitely, a missed opportunity of youth.

Pretty neat!  Some artists are more likely to sketch and write back than to actually do a sketch at a show!

I think it's very unlikely to get a free sketch by mail these days.  Many professionals don't even have time to autograph books if you send them.  But back in the 80's or 90's, it probably would have been possible.
