Fantastic early Defenders page by Sal Buscema. It's a fun page with lots of great scenes featuring Valkyrie! Love that first panel with Hulk disappearing while Valkyrie continues to fall. Fun-tastic rescue by the Black Knight's winged steed, Pegasus! I love that final panel with the closeup of Valkyrie's face. She's never looked better. Just an all around terrific Defenders page. Great pick-up, congrats!
Agreed on the McLaughlin inks! He brought a real (Charlton) Pop Art sensibility. Such bold lines, making the action really zing. This sequence is stunning, and the expressions are wonderful. Great page!
