Clark with Jonathan and Martha chose the wrong plane as it is struck by lightning in the second panel and begins a downward plunge in the fourth panel. That third oversized panel features Clark with Ma & Pa Kent and others reacting. Note the cool visual layout of the page with Clark at the very center of the artboard.

Page is in overall excellent condition showing normal wear for its age. Use of white-out and blue pencil as part of the creative process. Three corners are trimmed. Third panel has small stat correction in word balloon. "Continued on 2nd page following" on bottom margin is stat.
