Pencil prelim for a painted cover.
I loved the train on this prelim which I thought gave a great sense of perspective and depth. Ironically was replaced on the final cover.

Wow, this looks like a prelim to a Batman/Hourman Horror movie poster! I love the way that scary creature is enveloping himself around the train on the elevated tracks! The final design Harris went with feels weak, so it's a pleasure to see this version!
