DescriptionThis wonderfully early painted work by the fantasy master Luis Royo, features a battling beauty sitting on her throne triumphant as she’s surrounded by a corpse and bones as well as her guards. This art was used for the cover of the 9th book of Robert Adams popular Horseclans series (The Witch Goddess) published by Orbit Publications in 1984. This work was also used as the first card featured in Royo’s first card series from Comic Images called From Fantasy to Reality (card #1, published in 1993). Image size 11.5x19” on 14x20” board painted with watercolor and acrylic with airbrush.Social/Sharing |

The mists, the skulls, and the triumphant pose deepen the impact of this victory! Gorgeous Royo fantasy work! Even non genre fans wil recognize greatness in this painting.
