I've always liked how Grindberg combined red lines in his art to emphasize color changes. Not visible in the final art but awesome in the original. Plus the tonal and shimmering effect on SS. Great storytelling.

Awesome, massive Surfer illustration! I really disliked Grindberg's experimentation with other artist's styles such as his faux Mignola and later on his wannabe Frazetta. But I always enjoyed his Surfer work because it was his own style he was developing for the series and he made the Surfer look really shine and sleek.
