Description

Marcelo Ferreira feels like an underrated artist. I don't know why as evidence by this cover. His style suits Spider-Man very well. I love the shading done on the Lizard. It makes him look very menacing, which is good cause he's here for Spidey and Misty's backup against a horde of vampires.

A couple of notes for this cover:

It's written as a "variant" at the top, however, this was published as the main cover. Instead the variant cover was done by Bjorn Barends.

I had asked Ferreira's art rep about the inked version by Roberto Poggi being available, but I was told it had already gone to a friend of the inker. Otherwise I would have certainly grabbed that one as well.

Nice one! Very sharp pencils that could have bypassed inking if they wanted to go for a full color style.

I agree, Ferreira is totally underrated. But hopefully more collectors will gradually learn about him, especially if you post beauties like this one. Great add!

Cool seeing the Lizard backing up these 2 here, and also I like how BIG he is! Best not mess :) Ferreira killed this one. Congrats!
