Description

I wanted something from Barry Kitson for a while, and had eyed this piece for some time in various venues.

A memorable issue for me, where Superman fights Bloodsport II that ends in an epic cliffhanger.

Plus you can't beat Superman saying "Faster than a speeding bullet."

I think this is the very first time I can recall Superman himself saying "Faster than a speeding bullet.". So cool!

Not only does he say the phrase but he stunts on Bloodsport with the rhetorical question right after, that's some icy shit from Kal-El! haha. Nice pickup dude!

Fantastic Adventures of Superman page by Barry Kitson and Ray McCarthy. Very cinematic page as Bloodsport threatens a group of hostages only to be stopped by Superman himself. Love that last panel where Superman suprises Bloodsport by exploding out of the ground. Wonder where Supes got that "Faster than a speeding bullet" line?
