I picked this up recently from the fine folks at Fanfare Sports and Entertainment. If you've never purchased from them before, Tom Fleming (the main guy I've always dealt with) is absolutely fantastic! Great communication, fast shipping, and top notch service always. Give them the business if you're in the market.

Anyway, I really liked this piece because it's Mignola artwork from a period of his development that I've always enjoyed. Definitely pre-Hellboy, but still a perfect showcase for all of the things that Mike does so wonderfully. Also, that kick butt lion head always gets me! I discovered the various Mignola Corum issues in the back issue bins many years ago, and that has only fueled my desire over the years to own an original from the story. Thankfully I now own a nice page, but when I saw this color piece, I just couldn't resist.
