Description

This is probably the very first painted color piece by Lee, who told me he is shifting from digital to classic painted color art for his next cover projects, before AI changes the game forever. Can't be happier to have been able to snag this as soon as it came oout of his bag.

I think Bermejo's fears about AI in comic book art is a bit overdone. No AI program is going to match Lee's conception of the Dark Knight. Congrats on owning this gem !!

Bermejo adds another dimension to his repertoire! The textued paper and the intense hues match Batman's rough and fiery attitude. Very rich and thick layers giving Batman a more substantive feel.
