Bought this Swamp Thing Prelim a while back from Liz Wrightson.At one point I was trying to get at least one page from all 10 0f Berni's Swamp Thing series books.It turned out to be nearly impossible to do,lol.Since then, I have ventured into modern as well as older silver age pages in which to collect now to feed my ever growing gallery.I always wanted a page from issue #4 so this awesome pencil prelim will have to suffice for now and I'm so glad to add this to my Wrightson gallery,enjoy.

a really nice look at Wrightson's pencils and process on Swamp Thing, pretty cool! Getting a published page from every Berni issue of the run definately would have been a pretty ambituous goal but I understand the need to adjust strategies based on various market factors and personal factors - nice addition!

I use that collecting objective for short runs but also have abandoned it in some cases as I curate - that said, you can check the box on ST#4 with only a minor modification!

It's so cool that Wrightson didn't use panels borders first. It allows him to draw first and worry about containing the art/story later.
