Thanks for taking the time to reverse-engineer the framing for a great scan!
Haha no problem, I'll admit I was pretty nervous and sweating bullets while doing it but I got through it unscathed. It gave me enough confidence to try and do it on another framed piece I never had a scan for immediately after...and that one was way harder and sketchy to get through, took like 2 hours and required a lot of melted tape glue like residue removal (ugh). Doing it myself is oddly satisfying, though!
Strong Huddleston page. The shot-reverse shot from the first panel to the second is great!
Damn this is cool! Huddleston and Nixey on Harley Quinn! Yeah!
Nice piece, Kavi!
Great page. That inset panel really grabs your attention.
Thanks for (finally) sharing (c;
No one knows what it's like
To break the frame man
To break the glass man
Behind blue eyes
No one knows what it's like
Mike has penned it
Nixey inked it
To telling story lines
But my scans, they aren't as empty
As my conscience seen Harley
I have hours, Timm and Dini
I love Bat vengeance two thousand three
Fuck! I was about to tell you what a huge, missed opportunity this was for you to add Behind Blue Eyes as the added video and song for this piece, only to get to the last comment and see that Marcus bailed you out with it! Great looking, high contrast splash!
ha, yeah - I thought about that, but almost half assumed Marcus would do it for me! But seriously this is my only Harley piece with her animated series style costume on it, so I had to include her theme from that. And thanks, really enjoy this page - missed having it on the wall to look at, now I can look it anywhere!
Fantastic Harley title page! And I know very well how getting a great scan of a piece can reinvigorate your excitement about it.
Thank heavens for browder.
This is such a great page!!
Fantastic Harley page, great character art expressions.
Gotta love that perspective flip from the headshots (those expression, too!) to the otherside of the full figures in the splash - super effective stuff! Congrats, man!
