Mon-El by Terry Shoemaker

Terry Shoemaker's style was perfectly suited for the Legion, and I'm of the opinion that his renditions of certain Legionnaires - particularly Brainiac 5 - are the best those characters have ever looked...

...Which makes it all the more unjust that he only worked on half a dozen Legion issues. Thankfully, there's a good amount of unpublished Legion work from him floating around out there, like this sketch here! I won it from an eBay auction a few years back, and it was one of the first unpublished pieces of art I ever added to my collection. I love how even in a simple sketch format, using just a few lines, Terry was able to capture Mon-El's character enough that I'm sure many Legion fans could recognize him even without the distinctive cape buckles.
