Dr. Strange has been missing since his battle with Salome, but his construct Strange seeks some one to merge with to prolong its life. Here Strange is trying to persuade Polaris to merge with him.
I wasn't following Dr. Strange at the time, so the story on the page made no sense to me at the time. But I loved the design and layout of the page. And Eklund did a standout job of inking.

Stephen is quite the playa. Used the same pickup lines on Clea. The next thing he will do is invite her to the lake to go fishing with him.

Such great hair! I know almost nothing of Polaris, but because of the X-Men 50 cover I absolutely love her character.
