Description
AAAAAAL-VIN! Oh, how that would make me laugh when Dave Seville would shout and try to get control of a bad situation caused by his "adopted son" Alvin. Alvin of course was one of three chipmunks that were always into trouble, usually spearheaded by Alvin.

Back in the 1960s, the Chipmunks were bright in pop culture spotlight. Alvin even ran for president of the US...which caused JFK to have been quoted as saying, "I’m glad to know that I have at least one worthy opponent.”

This wonderful animation cel is of the main character ALVIN. Alvin was created and voiced by the genius of Ross Bagdasarian Sr.

SOME WIKIPEDIA INFO FOR THOSE UNFAMILIAR
The Alvin Show is an American animated television series that aired on CBS in the early 1960s. This was the first series to feature the singing characters Alvin and the Chipmunks. The Alvin Show aired for one season, from October 4, 1961, to September 12, 1962 and was originally sponsored by General Foods through its Jell-O gelatin and Post Cereal brands. Although the series was created in color, it was initially telecast in black and white. It was later rebroadcast in color from 1962-65 for Saturday mornings on CBS and again Saturday mornings on NBC in 1979.

A child of the 90's I'm guessing?  They had a comeback several different times with music and movies.  I'm more from the era of "Witch Doctor", "Japanese Banana", "I Wish I Had a Horse", and of course the Christmas classic "Christmas Don't Be Late".

Defininetly multi-generational!
