Deadly Convergence
written by Chuck Dixon

Black Canary lands on the 'Island That Time Forgot' and one of the denizens of the island is there to greet here.

I was a big fan of this series which was cleverly written with long runs by Chuck Dixon and Gail Simone. I picked a few pages along the way including this one with the menacing dinosaur. I thought Andrew did a great job with the rain effects on this page.
And I love dinosaurs!

I can't hide the way I feel about you dinosaur
I can't hold the hurt inside, keep the rain out of my eyes dinosaur
My Ross no longer waiting, my resistance inked Pepoy
My mind keeps recreating a line with you as shown
Dinah's tired of pretending I don't love you dinosaur

Let me make one splash appeal to show you how I feel about you
'Cause there's no one else I swear that holds a candle anywhere Rex to move
My heart can't take the beating, not having art to hold
A bird's voice keeps on preying deep inside my soul
It says I can't keep pretending I don't love you dinosaur

I loved Guice's work on this title, but this is right up there! Amazing splash by the crazy canuck himself, David Ross!
