11x17 Marvel bristol board, ink over blue line.

I purchased this from Craig Yeung at Fan Expo Canada just a short time after the book was published. Flipping through Craig's portfolios, there were loads of great pages, with lots of characters I really like. Kev Walker's an artist who I think should be a household name. When I saw this page, I hadda have it. Craig tells me they were going for a Mike Mignola vibe with the book. Yeah, I definitely see that!

Bloodhunt is the big event this summer and all the horror themes are a first for a Marvel event! Splashes like this push the envelope and show what audiences expect with the high quality of Walker and Yeung as rising talents!

I haven't been keeping up on this Blood Hunt theme —and I never particularly cared for Union Jack, but this is gloriously over-the-top in a Rafael Albuquerque meets Steve Bissette kind of way. I need to pay more attention to Kev Walker.

I believe there should be a pencil version, but i think he does use a bit of digital tools to do some effects. I'll dm you the pencil scan.
