Caleb Peregrine is a UK-based artist, focusing mainly on traditional art and illustration. He is inspired by the natural world and the world of Fantasy and Science Fiction.

I stumbled upon Caleb's online presence while looking for original Fantasy art. While my collection focus is Science Fiction, I am recently becoming more interested in Fantasy illustration art. I liked this Tolkien universe inspired artwork immediately (Glorfindel, fighting a Balrog of Morgoth's army). Glorfindel was one of the mightiest Elves of Middle-earth. During the First Age, he was the lord of the House of the Golden Flower of Gondolin, and died fighting a Balrog.

Oil on canvas with acrylic detailing. Size: 22x30 inch. Stretcher frame plus exterior framing.

The sheer scale of the painting will immerse you in the story. The size differential of the knight and the dragon will make you feel your pulse racing in that last ditch leap of no return!
