DescriptionNinth in the series - just imagine that, in 1960, Martin Goodman decides that comics have no future and closes Marvel down, forcing Lee and Kirby to seek work at National. And what if, after a couple of years producing back-up science fiction, war and romance stories for DC's anthologies, editor Murray Boltinoff (unsatisfied with the initial submission from Arnold Drake and Bruno Premiani) asks Stan and Jack to see if they can do anything with the idea of the Doom Patrol?This time: Negative Man fights alone - against the menace of Doctor Light, sometime foe of the Atom and the Justice League! Following on from the Robotman-centered issue #84, Negative Man gets his own turn in the spotlight --- and I have one planned for Elasti-Girl in future. I'm not sure I'll make it that far, but I have reasonably firm plans to get to issue #100.
