The Return of M'Onel!

released from stasis after a thousand years, Valor finds himself a religious figure. He adopts the name M'Onel (Martian for wanderer) to conceal his identity and joins the Legion as a detached service agent, leaving him free to wander the galaxy as he sees fit.
He also dons a new uniform and this cover is first time we see this uniform.

I really enjoy this period of Moy's art, as I find it still holds up really well in spite of it having been done so long ago and earlier in his career. Carini seems to be one of thos guys who moved up from Triple A into the big leagues for a cup of coffee and then just seemingly disappeared. I'm guessing he left to do better paying types of illustration work....
