Great Caesar's Ghost! Now that's a fantastic page from the Superman vs Doomsday battle! You sometimes forget how incredibly gorgeous the art by Jon Bogdanove was on this historic run! Love this scene with Superman putting Doomsday in a headlock! And check out how Doomsday leaps upwards lifting Superman off the ground in an effort to break free! Such a powerfully choreographed battle--Jon was really at the top of his game while drawing this issue. Congratulations on picking this beauty up!

Thx Bill..agreed choreography here is a great. .and the solider who is head squashed at their feet looks like a scene from an EC borrow comic...

Superman's full nelson would pop the head off anyone else, but this is Doomsday and this battle has us all at the edge of our seats!

I wonder if this is the first time Superman has put someone in a full Nelson? Hmmm... has anyone ever seen Supes do this before?
