I know this title and this character hold a special place in your heart.  Couldn't be happier for you bud.  Terrific DPS!

The Gerhard effect is strong!  His third issue in and he's finding ways to contribute in worldbuilding around the characters.

This is just about where I started collecting cerebus, so really find this page nostalgic.  Huge congrats!

A cool Cerebus title double page spread! But, splitting a dps into two posts so you can get twice as many comments? Naughty boy, Rickster....

Right -ON-, Rick!  I always get -so- excited when I see a collector add a couple sequential pages to their galleries, but when a major unifying element to those consecutive pages is the -lettering- of one of the best to ever do it...?  I just lose my beans.  So, so, SO cool, sir!  And although the full (and presently incomplete) wording in question is the potentially thorny "her thing coming", at least we're safe in the knowledge that this is being posted on COMIC ART FANS, which tolerates only the most highbrow of fine art criticism and appreciation, and no one would even -consider- misconstruing that phrase in an inappropriate or naughty way.  (Shhhh!  Nobody tell John C! 😜).  An epic add to your blessed collection, Rick.  I hope you can add "Anot" to really get "her thing coming" someday.  (Oh, wait!  What have I done?!?)

(I also love how the old man's pride and public posing start to deteriorate as Most Holy takes more and more liberties with his cane placement...  Dave was a master at choosing the -right- moment(s) to underscore some of Cerebus's "less noble" traits in the company of some of simple, good people who had the (oftentimes) misfortune of falling into his orbit... Dave's writing was so good, and wove so effortlessly into the art, lettering, and backgrounds, that the immersion into the purity of Cerebus's character (or lack thereof :) ) made for an unforgettable reading experience.  Your beautiful new spread is a testament in Most Holy's book, Rick.  Sincere congrats, pal!)
