DescriptionLet me start by saying I LOVE this page…. And I consciously didn’t really know it existed until a couple years ago… why you ask? Because until I few years ago I didn’t know that on occasions they added new material amongst the reprinting done in Classic X-men … see I read the Cockrum and Byrne X-men run in the classic X-men as if they were new issues . So when I read “ Uncanny X-men 109 “ this page was part of it! Even when I eventually got a copy of the original Uncanny X-men 109 I never read them side by side lol. So this incredible Wolverine page .. added to flesh out the previous relationship of Vindicator and Wolverine might as well be from the Byrne run to me lol. As it is it’s still a great page showing Wolverines back story from the mid 80s. I have to think that they asked Terry Austin to ink of Kieron Dwyer (Byrnes step son FYI) to make the inclusion of the page as seamless as possible!Anyway Massive thank you to my friend Mike M for finally relenting to my continued trade requests! Given that Dwyer is related to Byrne, you do have a page that's related to the original with Austin inking this story and 109.

there are quite a few great "bonus" items in the Classic X-Men run and this page has to be up with some of the top 5! Great addition!

I really love this! Classic X-Men was fun, and Dwyer killed it with this page! I love that bottom left panel!! Plus it has hand drawn word balloons!
