DescriptionMy favorite page from this memorable issue... The image of Spidey courageously standing in front of Juggy and Mcfarlane doing full justice to depicting the raw enormity of presence..It’s how the Juggernaut is really meant to look and feel...Oh so immense and powerful..From those I have spoken with about the page everyone seems to have the same memory and response about the impact of that single panel.. a perfect characterization and representation of both the inner characters and outer imagery of both... as who would ever imagine before this moment that Spidey would approach the Juggernaut so directly like this...that’s also what makes it such an impactful image..as anytime we see spidey confronting a Muscular Mass Monster he is nearly always in pure agility mode as the only way to even remotely consider a confrontation with such a beast... And so this atypical approach demonstrates Spidey’s cunning and brilliance and led to one of the most memorable single panel images of his spidey run... Social/Sharing |

Notable for being Todd's san song on Spider-Man and Marvel! He poured his all in this horizontal presentation issue as editors could do nothing as he was out the door.

Exactly ...as his farewell book he did it his way and the unique horizontal expression a call back perhaps to have a sideways issue in his art history like John Byrnes sideways FF issue..and Todd certainly poured on the action for this final issue ..

Another banger! Webs, action, and McFarlane's pure vision. Absolutely killer! Congrats and thanks for sharing.

Love how he starts with what he knows he can't do :) But we can try another route, and we gotta, X-Forcers! Great page from a super memorable issue. Congrats!
