Description

I always really liked this dynamic image of Cap coming at the reader with his American shield leading the way and a massive punch to follow on the unfortunate recipient. John Cassaday had a wonderful take on Cap's design that really added to his majesty and symbolism as a leader and soldier. Sadly, John passed away recently much too young but leaves behind a wonderful body of work as a testament to his talent.

Iconic. This series was a relaunch in response to 9-11. In a world that needed Captain America more than ever, Cassaday delivered the true measure of a patriot. Covers like this represent the strength and resolve of America when it faces its darkest moments.

An amazing cover! Cassaday redesigned Cap after the 90s and set a standard many artists have had to follow. Wonderful piece.

Classic Captain America cover by the late, great John Cassaday. You couldn't find a much more iconic image of Cap than this. Cassaday's Captain America was always drawn as much as a symbol as he was as a character. Phenomenal pick-up, congrats!
