Description

Our friendly neighborhood postman delivered this yesterday. It's an early work by the great Ed(mund) Emshwiller. Early in his career, he experimented with various different signatures on his art. In addition to the well known Emsh (which he used for most of his work), in this early period he also sometimes signed his works as Emsler, Willer or in some cases, like this one here, with his first and middle names - hence Ed Alexander. This appeared in the January 1952 issue of Galaxy Science Fiction, for "The Addicts" by Joseph Samachson.
