Hardcore violence! Only possible in b&w magazine format not beholden to the Comics Code! Even in that, there's no blood in the inks or wash tones from DeZuniga.

I was going to mention the comic code thing, and the lack of blood as well. It almost seemed as though she were an automaton. I know she wasn't, but it crossed my mind.

Amazing page, though.
