This is one is really unique, I love the use of type face in the image and Moon Knight looks awesome at the bottom!!!
Yes! Thanks so much! it looks very 80's, isn't it?
This is so great! Congratulations on securing it. I agree, Jorge is an amazing artist. Love his composition and love his storytelling
Thanks so much my friend! you really know it!
Great Page,Toni! Congrats!
Thank you so mucha my friend!
A really great addition to your collection. This is modern, but it seems very classic, congratulations, my friend!
You are totally true! It flairs 80's !!! Thanks a lot!!!
Fantastic page! Congrats
I thought it was a cover and it's a splash. And it's awesome, the most beautiful thing I've ever seen from Moon Knight.
really cool title/letter design within the piece and a great image of Moon Knight make for a great splash, looks like a cover honestly. very nice and thanks for making more aware of the artist/book. congrats!
You are true! That is a cover quality splash. Jorge told me that is one of his all time favourite artwotks. Thanks so much my friend.
Really great!
Awesome image! Great eye!
A brillaint title page for Moon Knight! Fornes incorporates the title type in the manner of Will Eisner's Spirit. It is used to make the city its own character and show how much bigger and maze like it is for heroes and villains.
You always hit the spot! Caped crusaders have to carry and suffer the weight of the responsability of protecting their cities. This weight usually breaks their shoulders.
Me encanta. Un piezón como la copa de un pino. Una auténtica maravilla del noveno arte. Una composición de página soberbia. Mi más sincera enhorabuena.
Mil gracias por tus amables palabras!!!
Love this one...is amazing , with the classic old taste we all love !
Fantastic composition and fantastic Fornés work from up to down...
Enjoy it Toni !!!
Wonderful cover, modern but with a classic aftertaste, a mix between the darkness of Bill Sienkiewicz and the three-dimensional compositions of Ed Hannigan's covers in which he integrated the letters as part of the urban landscape. A real gem and a work worthy of your increasingly unattainable collection. My most sincere congratulations, namesake.
It smells like CLASSIC stuff this The Spirit's homage! Congrats!!
Perfect mix of lettering and character in this title splash! The former IS the art, even more so than MK! Also gotta love how MK's cape is laying in that crescent shape - so effective. Jorge showing out big time here on his illustration AND design chops! Congrats, Toni!
Eisner, Steranko and Sienkiewicz....on steroids! Outstanding
Ciao Carlo. You know what you are talking about! Kind words! Grazie!
Stunning Moon Knight splash, love the creatve title on this!
Really love this page; has suh an awesome design and use of scale. Really loving work by this artist; great pick up major congrats!
Wow! Love this title page by Jorge Fornés for Phases of the Moon Knight. Gorgeously designed title in multiple typefaces as if built from parts of different signs found around a city. The very urban-looking title reads "Knight Time in the CIty" and it towers over a small figure of Moon Knight, posed in a spotlight at the bottom of the page. Stunning work by Jose that serves as a powerful message that Moon Knight has come to town. Fantastic pick-up, congrats!
Now you can sleep well knowing it is yours. Enjoy it my friend. It is a fantastic splash page!
Incredible splash!!
WOW!!! Fantastic!! Congrats.
This reminds me of Steranko's title splash to X-Men #51. And as Marcus mentioned, there are strands of Eisner's Spirit design as well. All in all, a wonderfully impressive splash page. Many congrats, Toni!
You are totally true. The fact that Jorge is a big comic fan and consumer explains these kind of influences or tributes. Thanks so much for your words.
That is so awesome!!
Wow you have an incredible collection! Great stuff!
