Description
One morning the comic book artist Ethan Crane wakes up and discovers that he is living in an alternative world where the South won the Civil War. Slavery and real redneck racism is fully institutionalized in the triumphant Confederate States of America. Crane´s superhero alter ego is no longer called Supreme, he is now The Supremacist. His fictional comic-book superhero is no longer called Omni-Man, the hero is now called The Clansman. This page depicts Crane´s eye-opening first visit to his comic-book workplace.
Good clean fun by Alan Moore, with a political angle perhaps even more relevant today than it was in 1997?

Alan Moore saw the future and knew where the world was in peril of.  He was always political in the UK, but towards the end, he and the ret of the world had more of a handle of where American politics were headed and what would divide western society.
