This is new one on me, Wrightson doing suburbia. Actually pretty good likenesses of Elizabeth Montgomery and Agnes Moorehead. I'll have to get a copy to see the whole story.

Predates his magnum opus Frankenstein by a year. But that top panel has so many of the design elements that would appear in that book. Of course he worked on Frankenstein for 7 years, so this project coincided with the tail end of that. Still Wrightson through and through.

Quite bewitching! Those frogs aren't going to clean themselves up. How many ways can Wrightson show us the macbre sense of humor? His Creepshow movie adaptaion was around this same time.

This is awesome! I had no idea this story existed. Beautiful page. Incidentally, if anyone out there was a fan of the old show, I want to say it still holds up and is a lot of fun to this day. Congrats!

And now for something completely different-- Bernie Wirghtson in the National Lampoon? Doing a parody of Bewitched? Wow, now that's different. Love this page. The top panel is amazing with Samantha looking all pissed at Aunt Agatha (Nice caricatures by the way) who's apparently conjured up a room full of dead frogs. I don't remember this parody, though I read National Lampoon as a kid. It looks hilarious. Love the second panel with Sam drawing a pentagram on the gleaming kitchen floor. And then the nosy nieghbor lady, Gladys Kravitz, peeking in on the whole scene. Great find!

Oh yes, I had this issue. What Endora and Samantha wound up doing with the demons on the couch is definitely in the NWS category...

Wow, I've not seen Wrightson's National Lampoon work until now, and I've been missing out, congrats!
