We get it on most every night
And when that Steve Rude gets that Death so bright
It's a supernatural delight
Everybody was dancin' in the moonlight

The background is every bit as interesting as the action. Wow!

Quite the original take on the character. Rude rocks.

Great concept. I love Death's expression, she's indulging him as he goes a little bonkers on the dance floor

Wow1 Killer piece from Steve Rude! I love this image of death dancing with...death. Death was always represented by a skeleton in a cloak with a scythe (The Grim Reaper), but now Death is represented as a young woman. And to draw a piece with the two of them dancing is ironic and also, in a way, iconic. Great pick-up, congrats!

Every now and then, Steve Rude hits one out of the park. Love this one!

Superb Rude composition, perfectly balanced and dripping with charm.  And they're just having the -best- damn time, right?  The character of Death is such a great creation, allowing us (as humans) to more easily grapple with / quantify / identify with a Really Big Cosmic Truth, and this piece taps into that core intent -so- perfectly...  The fantastic sense of movement creates an almost whimsical feeling, and Steve's mastery of chiaroscuro is an elemental force all its own.  Absolutely sensational piece, Andrew!  Congrats!
