Description
It's "Shocktober" so I guess it's time to post a few horror and horror-adjacent items.

First, this letters page from the second issue of Sammy Harkham's one-man anthology series, Crickets. Hey, it's got some Frankensteins on it so it counts as horror (cue the "Actually, it's Frankenstein's Monsters" folks).

Always a respected editor and cartoonist, Harkham's profile rose even further last year with the publication of the collected Blood of the Virgin, previously serialized in Crickets. I have several pages from the book in my gallery so feel free to check those out (or not).

Cool to see a more modern letters page like this in the original art form, that top area with the Frankensteins is super cool and perfect for Shocktover as you mentioned. Thanks for sharing!

How cool to have an original letters page! But the "Attack of the Frankensteins" is the icing on the cake!

Poor guy had to hand letter everything himself.  It's enough to cause wrist cramps that would neccessitate a drastic solution.

Harkham is truly great and doesn't get the wide recognition he deserves. Icing on the cake: a letter by Dan Nadel, who was the editor/publisher of PictureBox, the best US indy publisher of the '00s, and a mention of Frank Santoro, a comic author in his own right and an amazing comics critic. This page is a real snapshot of the best this era had to offer.
