Description

As the dam washes away, Nathan tries to evacuate Bacon from the flood zone, but he's having none of it:

“Wow, what a disaster!”

“Yeah, but how could this have happened? Luckily for us the alarm went off in time.”

“Impossible! This deafening noise is... it's the dam!

“Over there. Look. A wave of water is coming, and it's gigantic! Mr. Bacon, get on board. The base of your villa will not withstand the impact of the water!”

“Go to hell!”

“Come on, Bacon. Don’t be an idiot. Give me your hand.”

Bonazzi's mix of cartoon figures with fully rendered background reminds me of Akira. The last panel has a nice extended hand.

All 3 of those panels showing the scope of the water from the dam break are excellent and also pretty scary. Nathan better get the hell outta there, Bacon or no Bacon!
